RUB DOWN FOR RELIEF
Help for Haiti
Prema Sai Wholistic Living, a wholistic massage clinic here in Calgary,
will be hosting a "Rub Down for Relief" Wednesday January 27th, 2010 at
their location at 2613 14th St SW from open (10am) until close (7pm).
The clinic will be serving up their usual menu of services, 100% for
the Haiti relief effort, and the services will go for $2 per minute.
Their menu includes massage, acupuncture, energy work, detoxification
services, consultations and readings. Prema Sai's loving staff and
practitioners are working the whole day through, doing massages,
readings and hosting activities such as drumming circles and yoga
classes and 100% of the money they raise will go to the Red Cross.
This
isn't the first time the folks at Prema Sai have put their hands to
work for a good cause, almost 5 years ago to the day the team of
wholistic healers hosted a Rub Down for Relief that raised over $4000
for the Red Cross' relief effort for the Tsunami victims in 2005.
"It's
hard, as a mother, and a business owner, as a person of action and
compassion, to be here, when they need so much help there. The Rub Down
helps me to focus my energy and love towards the people of Haiti. It's
too hard to do nothing, it's easier to do anything, we can do what we
do and send our money and love to the courageous people of Haiti" says
Williams, owner of the 14th Street clinic who boast "the best massage
in town". They are asking clients to bring along cash that day, to
avoid the service charges incurred by running credit cards, so that
100% of the money can go to the effort.
